City of Fargo

The City of Fargo is located in Cass County, North Dakota, along the Red 
River of the North which forms the border between Minnesota and North Dakota.
An  estimated 99,200 people live in Fargo.  It is the largest community in the 
Fargo-Moorhead metropolitan area (population of 175,000).

Libraries

The Fargo Public Library, with three locations in Fargo, North Dakota, 
provides educational and entertainment materials for people of all ages.  The 
library has a collection of more than 165,000 books, 10,000 DVDs and many 
other physical (external link) and electronic resources. The library also  has
children’s, teen, and adult programming including story times, computer  classes
and delivery to homebound citizens through its outreach service. Check  out the

Hector Airport

 2007 was the second busiest year in terms of total passengers for the 
 airport.  Nearly 600,000 passengers either enplaned or deplaned at Hector 
 International Airport. In 2006, the Municipal Airport Authority initiated a 
 terminal expansion project to meet the needs of the passenger terminal of the 
 next twenty years and construction was completed in 2008.

     and Northern League championship, were named Baseball America's Independent 
     Team  of the Decade for the 1990s. They were also the 1998, 2003, & 2006 
     Northern  League Champions.

  • Fargo Force – hockey
    The Fargo Force is the newest addition to the Tier 1 United States Hockey 
     League (USHL) bringing the league team total to thirteen. The USHL is America's 
     first and only Tier 1 junior hockey league. Its mission is to develop young 
     hockey talent.
